This one off Fringe Event of the 2019 Aldeburgh Food & Drink Festival is ONLY taking place on Sunday 29th September, providing a unique opportunity to savour the finest local ingredients in the fabulous 5* environs of Belle Grove.
If you’ve already heard of the Fry Up Police * you’ll know they started as something of a mischievous, not to to say outlandish, social media phenomenon. They’ve emerged as the online authority on Full English breakfasts – and when it comes to traditional fry ups, their overriding ethos is to source topnotch local .

For this event FUP is offering its new and scrumptious All Day Breakfast Buns * The entrance charge of £5 pp is redeemable against the Bacon Butty bun as described below….

* Penny Bun Bakehouse buns will be filled with a choice of the finest locally sourced free range bacon from Blythburgh Pork or award-winning sausage patties from Archers Butchers or Low Farm eggs Add gorgeously melty cheese, fried onions and ‘baconnaise’ and you have a Pig Fupper ie the lot in one bun!
BACON BUTTY BUN – £5. Dry cured smoked bacon, bacon butter.
THE PIG FUPPER BUN. – £7. Sausage patty, bacon, American cheese, fried onions & baconnaise.
THE FUPPING EGG BUN – £5. Free-range egg with American cheese and fried onions
There’ll be plenty of seating to allow you to enjoy the unique award-winning surroundings as well as a stylish Maharajah tent to provide protection from the sun or drizzle, depending!
Hours are 10 – 4 which means you can even have a breakfast bun at teatime! Tea will of course be available to wash it all down as well as the FUP signature coffee made exclusively from Cameroonian Boyo coffee beans. Even these are roasted locally! (As an aside, the owners of Dragon House recall visiting coffee farms during their various visits to Cameroon back in the day so it’s pleasing to think that one of those very farms produces these beans!)
