‘Winter is Coming’ – or is it here?

We have had dustings of snow so far rather than full-on snowfalls like much of the country but snow, frost and fog together make magical moods around the gardens

What’s the Weather ?

East Anglia is famously the driest part of the British Isles so rain isn’t often too much of a problem. In fact, there is a bit of a micro climate in this part of the East as it is often hot and dry when the rest of England is wet and cool – and, we have to admit, vice versa when the sea mist rolls in!  For local weather indications, log onto the BBC weather site  or a Local Weather Station

By the way, there is a useful little gadget for guests to consult, which shows temperature, time tides and the full moon cycle.

Complimentary Gin Experience

Our gin tasting evening on Saturday 2nd February is proving popular! There’s just one property (the Granary) still available  for guests booking  the weekend 1st- 4th February.

It is to be held in the farmhouse and there will be quite a range of unusual gins to try + nibbles. And you won’t have to worry about driving!
