Belle Grove may be in the countryside but is by no means isolated. Apart from being near the seaside, there is much of interest in the nearest market town, Halesworth, only 2 miles distant.
The town is a multi Gold Award winner in Anglia in Bloom and offers a huge range of ‘things to do’ – all sorts of events at The Cut Arts Centre , exhibitions at Halesworth Art Gallery, walking on the Millennium Green (the largest in England), displays at Halesworth Museum (which, among other things, has these really beautiful Bronze Age axe heads found nearby) + a Golf Club, a plethora of eateries, coffee shops. There’s a weekly market and monthly brocante & produce market + great antiques such as the Black Dog Antiques Centre. Find out more about the town and the area at www.blythvalleyexperience.com which has a wonderful photo gallery.
In other words, this is a great location at which to base your holiday!
